The QMOD-HDMI 4K is a professional frequency-agile RF Encoder/Modulator for distributing UHD or HD video content over CATV systems to an unlimited number of televisions or standalone HDTV Tuners. The unit is ideal for distributing Ultra-High-Definition video from cameras, satellite receivers or cable boxes, or 4K digital signage content from media players or PCs. Video encoding is in high quality H.265/HEVC or H.264/AVC formats. The RF output level is adjustable up to 45 dBmV.

The QMOD-HDMI 4K can simultaneously output content as an MPEG-TS IPTV stream or RF channel. Features include easy front-panel setup, so no PC is required for configuration and the ability to deliver content as 8VSB of-air channels 2-69. Dual unit rack mounting offers 2 to 4 programs per rack unit, with the ability to mix with other QMOD HD models to handle SDI, HDMI, Component, RGBHV, and NTSC video sources.
