Display Express

3 Panels

Application: Define, operate, and schedule display control from Web-based software Click Web Demo above to access sample Display Express system software.

Web Demo (click link above): Log in as one of three types of use (you won't need a password):

  • admin - has all rights, access to all panels
  • user - can access the first page on any section (Presets, Schedule, Setup, Alerts) but can't change settings
  • panel - directs access to DX control panels only. Presently, logging in as "panel" takes you to pages that work great for SmartPhone and Tablet web devices.

Display Express employs browser-based ASP technology to integrate, create, launch, and schedule control commands any number of displays, projectors, and TVs through a facility’s RF coax network. The software is available in two forms:

  • SW-DX - installable software for Windows XP Pro PCs and Windows 2003 servers, will advise operation with newer Windows versions when tested. User PC must stay active to run scheduling.
  • SSV-DX - pre-installed in a rack-mount PC.

Setup and operation is a snap. There’s nothing to define, commands are sent to all or one of 15 pre-set zones of controllers. No programming experience is needed - just fill in the blanks and click checkmarks to create control presets. Each Preset (a group of commands to a Zone) can be sent as a clickable button or pull-down list (automatically created by Display Express). Schedule Events by linking Presets to a time, date, and cycle. Launch video pages or alerts from up to 14 user-created Alerts buttons.

Access Display Express pages from anywhere on the network with IE or Safari browsers. Rights to users internally and externally can be set by the IT team, as with any network resource.

The compact 1RU PC mounts in the RF head, communicating to displays through the existing RF network
