The VSCC is only unit designed for integration, displaying captions on command from a wall switch, system closure, or PC COM port DTR line. IR to RS-232 Interface

The novel IR-23s2 translates commands from off-the-shelf IR remotes into RS-232 commands, simplifying integration with control systems. Unlike generic converters, the IR-232 offers simple native and custom-created strings, and interprets button action into discrete press and release commands.
